Congressman Lim sets aside 1 M for teachers’ welfare..
  
Hon. Reno G. Lim, the Congressman for the 3rd District of Albay has recommended
the release of one million pesos from his PDAF to provide financial assistance to
teachers of DepED-Ligao City.

This was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding signed between
Congressman Lim and Supt/ Diosdado M. San Antonio of DepED-LIgao City.         

Through the efforts of City Councilor Vida Prollamante-Aurelio, the Congressman
RENO (Relief for Educators by Nurturing Opportunities)  G. LIM Grant for a College
Graduate in Every Teacher’s Family will provide P 2,500 financial assistance per
semester to each regular employee of DepED-Ligao City Division, residing in Ligao
City and who is a parent or legal guardian of a college student.

In addition, teachers whose children/wards are preparing to become teachers shall
enjoy P 5,000 financial assistance per semester.
