| VanderPol Academy to enhance teachers' English proficiency..... |
January 14, 2008, the Division of Ligao City issued the memorandum to district
supervisors, elementary and secondary school heads and teachers informing them of
the English Competency Program offered by VanderPol Christian Academy Inc. ,
Layon, Ligao City.
With reference to the letter sent by the President of VanderPol Christian Academy
Inc., Rev. Dennis Linebarger to the City Mayor, Linda P. Gonzalez, the information
was coursed through the Schools Division Superintendent of Ligao, Dr. Diosdado M.
San Antonio. The program was graciously acknowledged by the Superintendent with
his desire to strengthen
teachers' communicative competence in the delivery of lessons in subjects using
English as medium of instruction.
The first batch of participants were residents of Layon and nearby barangays for
their access to the training venue the fact that sessions will be conducted 6:00 to
8:00 P.M in 6 months from February 4, 2008 onwards. This program is given for free
and the participants will be issued a US Certificate of Diploma after completion.
